Can you be self-sufficient?

Being self-sufficient is possible by being aware of your own needs and fulfilling them with an inner strength, not an external influence. When you take care of your own garden without looking at someone else's, it flourishes, and the roots of everything you plant there become stronger. And the more peaceful we are inside, the stronger our connection and communication with the outside become because the inner garden reflects on the outer garden.
 
You can start noticing your own needs by spending time alone with yourself. By being with yourself, you can understand what you want, why you want it, and why you do what you do. At the same time, you can only realize the direction you want to go and the life you want to live this way and proceed accordingly.
 
Starting by consciously setting aside time for this will do you good. Afterwards, this will become your normal, and the time you spend with yourself will increase because you will start to need to spend time with yourself and even feel its absence when you cannot. If you want to start this process more regularly and consciously, you can include yoga and meditation practices in your life.
At the same time, spending time with yourself and valuing yourself is not only possible spiritually but also physically. A book you read or a skincare routine you do is also part of spending time with yourself.

Courage comes from the heart, and being able to tell your own story with all your heart comes to life when you show the courage to accept all your flaws. Most of us do not want to spend time with ourselves to avoid facing our mistakes and dark sides. For this reason, we want to constantly meet someone or be somewhere. If you also notice these kinds of needs, we can say you are facing a good opportunity to turn to yourself and take a look. When you turn to yourself and take a look, what you will find is actually what you really need.


"Being constantly with friends or being somewhere, exactly which feeling am I trying to experience or which feeling am I trying to escape from?" You can start the process of spending time with yourself by asking yourself questions like this and meeting your answers.
