As this month comes to an end, I wanted to talk a bit about the state of gratitude. I think taking a breath and thanking what we have lights up the path we've walked. Don't you think so too?
Are you grateful?

Gratitude is one of the most effective known methods to increase our energy and frequency. So what happens when our frequency increases? We effortlessly start to be content with ourselves, heal, recover, and shift from chasing what we want to attracting what we want.

 

If you wonder how to get into this state, like everything else, with regular practice. Noting down 3 things you are grateful for every morning is one of the most 'cliché' but effective ways. Choosing satisfaction and gratitude instead of complaining in daily speech and trying to see the beauty in what is definitely works very well. My personal favorite is to mentally go through everything I'm grateful for while meditating or walking.

This way, my mind calms down, clears up, and it becomes easier to fill my life with beauty. Highly recommended!

 

While there are many things to be grateful for in our lives, sometimes we find it hard to see them. In such cases, starting right now, you can begin writing down everything you are thankful for in a notebook. This could be a 'big' event like a job offer you worked hard for, or things we always have but don't constantly appreciate, like being able to read what I'm writing now. Once you start thinking, you won't believe how many things there are to be thankful for. You can revisit what you've written whenever you need and raise your energy even more.

 

If you still can't think of anything to be grateful for, remember, if we know how to see, even the water flowing from the tap is abundance. Being able to appreciate these seemingly small things without losing their value allows us to live life from a more appreciative place. 🤍

The nicest thing I can add is that when you incorporate routines into your life, your brain will associate scent with calmness, so after a note, as you sense the scents you use in that practice, like palo santo, you'll start feeling calm without even realizing it :)
